So. I've made it through training. It was hell but I did it. Graduated to a Federal Agent standing with NOAA. I don't go off to Alaska til later this week. I'm so fucking bored just sitting around here. It's not like there's much todo because there really isn't. I have seriously been on facebook today for like 4 hours. It's that bad. I'm glad I have today off so I can just relax before I get deployed into the Bering Sea. But I really don't want to wait any longer to leave. I'm not supposed to leave until Tuesday at the earliest. It's going to be hell just waiting around to leave. At least I have time to watch movies and read for pleasure. I guess that's all for now. I'll most likely write in here again when I get back from my first deployment. Peace.

I'm getting nervous about this job. The training is so intense, we're in there for almost 10 hours a day, not to mention all the extra outside stuff that has to be done. There's a fish ID test that I have to take and I'm really nervous about that because I've never had to do that before. There's a key that I get to use but I just can't seem to do it. I go in early and stay late just so I can learn them. And all the paper work is ridiculous. It really needs to be a four week training class and not three. It would be better in the sense that I wouldn't feel as much pressure on me to get the material so fast. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow since I've had time to let it all sink in. I have a test on Tuesday and have to get at least an 80 on it or else I'm out of a job. The only good part is that it is open book. I mean we live by our manuels anyway. Well I'm going to bed. I'll try for an update on Wednesday.

Well, I'm sitting here in the craptastic apartment that Alaskan Observers has kindly provided us for free. Let me say I have been in worst but this is quite bad. I've already met Chris from Wisconsin and Jenny from New York. There should be more arriving today but we'll see. Later we have to go learn the bus route that will take us to training and hopefully by a bus pass since I don't always exactly have $1.50 in my pocket. Seattle was awesome for the parts that I did see. I have at least 2 more weekends here before I head up to Alaska to actually work. Well that's all for now.

Ok, it hasn't been 3 months, but it has been a month. I've finally graduated and it's nice not having to worry about school. I leave in 2 weeks for Seattle for my new job. I'm getting excited but it won't hit me until that Tuesday. I'm leaving so much behind, my friends, family, old jobs, and other things. It's not like I'm going to be able to call people up and just go out cause we have nothing better to do or just lay in my bed and watch a movie. It's definitely going to be different but it's going to be worth it. I do need the experience to move on in my field and especially if I want to go to grad school and any other scuba diving trips. Cleaning my room and going through all the shit that I've accumulated over the years is tedious. I'm also going to try and make my Bonaire scrapbook before I venture off to the Alaskan coldness. I guess I'll be able to write more in here when I get out there because I won't have anyone really that knows me. Glad I bought that laptop. I mean I'm going to meet new people and become a working women, but I feel that I've finally left behind the childhood and now whether I like it or not, I'm an adult. I don't get to come home until the end of December for the first time, but I'll get used to it. Hopefully the 2 years of this job will help me get rid of that damn loan and work closer to what I really want to do. I want work with coral reefs and restore them after hugh events that can mess them up or create a marine park to help save them. But we'll see. First I've got to get through training. Bye for now.

So it's been a while. I guess I'll just watch basketball. Bye for like another 3 months.

i'd say it's been a while. but i felt keeping my life off the internet as long as possible since a certain incident in mid-august was best. i'm not going to mention said incident either. i have a halloween party this coming weekend and i'm going to be a pirate. like a thought out none of this sluty looking pirate stuff, like a deck hand pirate. pics will be on facebook most likely sunday. i'm procrastinating bad from my school work right now. i guess i'll redo the 2 meteorology problems so i can get as close to a 90 on the test as possible. that's all. and i have the assistant seasonal manager job at kb. now if i could just find a real job.
